District 2 encompasses the neighborhoods of Telfair, River Park, and New Territory—three
vibrant suburbs that each offers its own unique character and sense of community. As the
District 2 Council Member, I’m proud to represent the residents of these areas and advocate
for the services, amenities, and resources that help them thrive. By focusing on the
individual needs and qualities of Telfair, River Park, and New Territory, we can ensure that
District 2 continues to be a wonderful place to live and grow.
About Telfair
Telfair is a vibrant, master-planned community spanning more than 2,000 acres in the heart of Sugar Land, complete with scenic lakes, walking trails, and easy access to major highways. It encompasses 2,839 single-family homes and offers a wealth of amenities, including swimming pools, tennis courts, playgrounds, event halls, and a resident
gym—all designed to foster a sense of belonging and engagement.
Additionally, I’ve had the pleasure of living here for over a decade, serving as an active
board member of the Telfair HOA, helping bring the new Telfair Gym project to fruition, and
collaborating with the Telfair Crescent Association to organize community events. These
experiences have shown me firsthand how Telfair’s well-maintained common areas and
strong community spirit make it an ideal place for families to put down roots and thrive.
About River Park
River Park is a scenic, amenity-rich community featuring a pool, walking trails, lakes, a
clubhouse, playgrounds, and parks. It also benefits from a dedicated Board of Directors, and I plan to work closely with them to align neighborhood and city efforts. By bringing together both neighborhood and city boards, we can address local needs more efficiently and drive
truly monumental improvements for the entire River Park community.
About New Territory
New Territory is a 3,200-acre, Now home to over 17,000 residents across 42 neighborhoods, New Territory features more than 450 acres of parks, lakes, and greenbelts, providing a small-town feel amid one of the nation’s fastest-growing counties. Residents enjoy a wealth
of amenities—including multiple recreation centers with swimming pools, tennis courts, and sports fields—highlighted by the 18,000-square-foot Club facility, which houses a
gymnasium, fitness room, and meeting spaces. With its own on-site management team,
active Homeowners Association (HOA), and elected Board of Directors, New Territory offers
a family-oriented, culturally diverse lifestyle, ensuring that community needs are met and common areas are well-maintained.
